Now you can take part in this historically accurate strategy game that allows you'll take the field with the Saxons, Normans and Vikings to fight out the great battles which decided the future of England.
The 1066 Game
The 1066 Game gets you right in amongst the battles, allowing you to directly control every barrage of arrows, cavalry charge and defensive stand taken by your armies. Mini-games add to the tension of issuing commands, and a distinctive portrayal of medieval warfare is delivered by the striking visual and dramatic animation.
Multiplayer options are included and offer you the chance to battle online against friends or other 1066 game players. As well as relying on factual statistics, the victory of your troops also depends on their morale, which also played a huge role on the eleventh-century battles. Taunts, chants and the presence of a strong leader will all prove key to winning on the day.
